May 28, 2026 — Planning Commission Public Hearings: Three Conditional Use Permits
The Farr West Planning Commission will hold three public hearings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Farr West City Hall to consider conditional use permit requests from Katherine Schmidt (accessory building over 2,000 sq ft at 3965 N 2600 W), Howard Black (accessory building over 2,000 sq ft at 1530 N 2000 W), and Alex Maurer (vehicle/parts sales and repair business at 3677 N 2000 W).

May 14, 2026 — Planning Commission Public Hearings: Five Items
Planning Commission held five public hearings covering amendments to the swimming pool ordinance, a rezone of the River Blacksmith property (A-1 to mixed-use), amendments to the Legends Subdivision Development Agreement, and a general plan amendment and rezone of the David and Jason Chugg properties (R-1-15 to M-1 Manufacturing).
April 21 – May 12, 2026 — Notice of Intent: Impact Fee Analysis for Parks, Trails & Open Space
Farr West City announced its intent to prepare an Impact Fee Facilities Plan and Impact Fee Analysis for parks, trails, and open space, covering the entire city boundary, and opened a public comment period from April 21 through May 12, 2026.
April 9, 2026 — Planning Commission Public Hearing: Agribusiness Ordinance Amendment
Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider amendments to the Agribusiness ordinance in Title 5.30 of the Farr West Municipal Code.
April 2, 2026 — City Council Public Hearing: FY 2025–2026 Budget Adjustments
The Farr West City Council held a public hearing to receive comments regarding adjustments to the FY 2025–2026 budget.
March 26, 2026 — Planning Commission Public Hearing: Priority Protection Group Training Facility (CUP)
Planning Commission held a public hearing on a conditional use permit request for the Priority Protection Group training facility for law enforcement, military, and the general public, located in the Farr West Business Park at 1166 N 2000 W.
March 19, 2026 — City Council Public Hearing: FY 2025–2026 Budget Adjustments
The City Council held a public hearing to receive comments regarding adjustments to the FY 2025–2026 budget.
March 10, 2026 — Notice of Adoption: Farr West Landing Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan
The City Council passed Ordinance No. 2026-05 on March 5, 2026, adopting the Farr West Landing Community Reinvestment Area Project Area Plan, designating the area as an official CRA and authorizing the Agency to carry out the Plan.
