Youth City Council
Youth City Council
The Farr West Youth City Council (FWYCC) provides an opportunity to develop future leaders, give a voice to youth, engage in municipal government and community service, and improve the community for future generations.
Members learn about the challenges and successes of local government, gain an understanding of operations and functions, and take an active interest in addressing issues relating to local affairs, community events, and youth issues. Participation also improves leadership, project development, and management skills.
Applications for the FWYCC are now open. Applications are screened, and select applicants are invited to an in-depth interview.
To apply: email applications to recorder@farrwestcity.gov or bring them in to the city office.
