Loy Blake Park Reservations

Loy Blake Park is West Point's largest park, with 3 baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a football field, tennis courts, basketball courts, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a splash pad. Five boweries and both horseshoe pits are available to reserve.

Power and water are available throughout the park.

Reservation Blocks

Park rentals are done in two blocks:

  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Boweries, the volleyball pit, and the horseshoe pits are reserved online through the West Point City recreation catalog.

Good to Know

  • Boweries must be reserved in advance. The large bowery holds approximately 300 people; each small bowery holds approximately 50.
  • Volleyball nets are up during the summer months. If the pit isn't reserved, use is first-come, first-served.
  • Horseshoe pits are reserved as a pair. If not reserved, use is first-come, first-served.
  • Rented equipment is due back by 12:00 pm on the due date. Deposits may not be refunded if equipment is returned late, lost, or damaged.
  • The fire pit and splash pad cannot be reserved. Use is first-come, first-served.
  • Athletic fields and courts (baseball diamonds, football field, soccer fields, tennis, and basketball) are scheduled separately by West Point City Recreation and require an approved Facility/Field Request Form at least two weeks in advance. Call 801-776-0970 or 801-564-7701, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Alcohol is not permitted at any West Point City park, and all parks are smoke free.
